RHIZO-ZEAL (Rhizobium Species)

RHIZO-ZEAL is an ecological formulation designed to naturally supply nitrogen to crops, specifically those in the legume family.

Key Component & Mechanism

• Active Ingredient: Rhizobium (a nodulating type of microorganism).
  • Role: This is a type of bacterium known as a nitrogen-fixing bacterium.
• Mechanism (Symbiotic Relationship):
  1. The Rhizobium in the formulation associates symbiotically (mutually beneficially) with the roots of legume plants.
  2. It causes the plant to form small structures called nodules on the roots.
  3. The Rhizobium multiplies and resides inside these nodules.
  4. Within the nodules, the bacteria convert inert atmospheric nitrogen ($N_2$)—which plants cannot use—into a usable form (like ammonium), effectively fixing atmospheric nitrogen directly for the plant.
