MYCHOPHOS is an eco-friendly product designed to mobilize the essential nutrient Phosphorus, which is often locked up and unavailable in the soil.

Key Component & Mechanism

• Active Ingredient: Phosphate-Solubilizing Fungal Bacteria (PSFB).
• Mechanism (Solubilization):
  1. The PSFB releases various organic acids (such as citric, oxalic, gluconic, and malic acids).
  2. These organic acids act as natural chelating agents, binding with metal cations like calcium and aluminum.
  3. In the soil, most phosphate exists in insoluble forms bound to these metal cations (e.g., tricalcium phosphate).
  4. By chelating the metals, the PSFB effectively releases the phosphate from its bound state, converting it into a soluble form that the plant roots can readily absorb.
